My name is James David Wright, and I am a copywriter dedicated to clarity in communication.

More specifically, I’m a web copywriter specializing in online content for small and medium-sized businesses. I can help you get maximum impact and results from your online presence.

What’s an online presence?

Basically, your online presence includes anything you use to market yourself online: websites, blogs, emails, Facebook or Twitter updates, that sort of thing.

I create and write, or edit and maintain, compelling online content that is optimized for search engines, usability, and specially crafted for optimum social media sharing and engagement.

That's what I do, and I love it.

If you're frustrated with aspects of your online presence, you've come to the right place!

Without a complete strategy for your online presence, you could be leaving money on the table. Lots of it.

Let me help you get it back.

How? By looking at the big picture.

The Big Picture?

A lot of people focus on content, and rightly so. Content, as they say, is King! You need good, no, great content that either entertains, fills a need, or solves problems your clients and customers are having.

But if no one can find your great content on the web, what's the point? That’s where Search Engine Optimization (SEO) comes in.

The goal of SEO is to make sure that your copy is in tune with how your clients and customers search on the web, and to get you to appear prominently in the search results. Ideally, on page one.

When your content is properly optimized for search engines, there is a much better chance that you will be found, and therefore, get more traffic to your site.

Why is this important?

When was the last time you clicked a link that was on page six of the Google search results?

That's what I thought.

Still more challenges?

When they do get to your website, what kind of experience will your clients find?

Are your menus and navigation options clear? Is your content easy to find? Is the design and navigation on your site simple and intuitive?

It needs to be, otherwise the next page they see may be one from your competitor.

What about Social Media?

Many businesses now have social media accounts, but now what? How best to use it?

Is Facebook better for your business, or is Twitter? What do you do with your account now that you have it? How often should you post? What should you post?

How different is social media marketing compared to your existing marketing efforts in print, radio, or television? (Hint: it's very different!)

It's tough out there!

If you're online, you know it's tough out there. Has there ever been a time when we've been more bombarded with information than we are right now?

With cheap web hosting, blogging, Facebook, Twitter, and don't forget spam, the amount of information and marketing we're exposed to on a daily basis is staggering … and relentless!

What I do is help you stand out from the crowd, and be heard over the noise that is the internet.

I do it with a strategy that starts with great online content, but also looks at it in the context of SEO, usability, and social media.

I solve problems ... it’s just what I do!
